| I was reading though some of the stuff posted and it made me want to post some of my own. This Poem is actually published in two books one in the U.S and the other is an international one. I won a few awards. It is a bit dark you have been warned lol! Hope you like it Death comes in slow painful storkes
of the hands of time
I wait for the clock to strike my hour
to take me from this painful life
Time slows and wont let me go
I wish to leave before the love leaves me first
My hour comes, and death fails to take me
Leaving me here to roit away
in the nothingness that is my life
Leaving me among the torn pages of the me who's lost
Time teases me with false hope that my hour will come again
Time stops leaving me in the silence that makes me insane
Leaving me to think my way to sadness
Giving way to the pain I wanted to be freed from
Time save the hollow being from the pain
Waiting to be freed from the me that isn't there
I rather you see me for who I am, then love me for who I'm not

Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it.. Yes i am a published poet the international book is hard to find its a special addition, my friend found it in london and bought it for me for my birthday. I will try to find some of my happy ones I mostly write when I am sad or stressed. I will post some more I have two more that I think would be liked still dark though.. I like being symbolic when I write
