I don't remember. I think it could've been Clifford though.
I love Clifford. He's the BIG RED DOG! It's funny how fast he grows.

I can't remember the first children's book, but I do remember borrowing Bridge to Terabithia from the library since I figured it'd be good since it won an award. No spoilers but let's just say that I didn't borrow any more books with that award after :P

It was either a Dr. Seuss book or one of the Amelia Bedelia series... whatever it was, it took a long time for me to start reading.

The first book I read was, Jane Austin's "Pride and Prejudice". I was particularly young, but I understood most of the concept and liked it, regardless. XD I forgot where I found the book though.

haha mine too ^^
Before I discovered the charms of public libraries I had to rely on my own - Little Prince and Karl May's Winnetou were the very first books I've read out of my own interest. Before that was just school literature, but that's mostly boring :/

The first book I read? My memory is so bad that I'm not sure! Maybe 'Rozpravky o chlapcovi menom Dominik'? I've written the title in slovak language (in english it will be something like: Fairy tales about boy called Dominik) because it's from slovak author I think ^.^
